1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering as a volunteer or campaign, or otherwise using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform.

2. Service Description

Groundwork is a two-sided matching platform that connects volunteers with political campaigns, non-profits, and advocacy groups. Our platform:

• Collects profile information from volunteers and campaigns
• Uses a matching algorithm to suggest compatible connections
• Facilitates introductions between matched parties
• Operates primarily in the United States and Canada

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Each email address may only be associated with one account (either as a volunteer or as a campaign, not both)
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

Authentication

We use passwordless magic link authentication. Login links are sent to your registered email address and are single-use with a limited expiration time. You are responsible for securing access to your email account.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the platform for spam, harassment, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
• Use the platform for any illegal activities or campaigns
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Matching and Interactions

No Guarantee of Matches

While we strive to provide meaningful matches, we do not guarantee that you will receive matches, that matches will be suitable, or that interactions will result in successful volunteer placements.

User Discretion

You have full discretion to accept or decline any match or invitation. We do not verify the accuracy of information provided by users, and you should exercise your own judgment when interacting with other users.

Direct Relationships

Any agreement, arrangement, or relationship formed between volunteers and campaigns is solely between those parties. Groundwork is not a party to such agreements and assumes no responsibility for their terms or outcomes.

Safety Warning & Conduct in Field

Groundwork does not perform criminal background checks on users. Users are encouraged to meet in public places and exercise caution when interacting with matched parties in person.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your content as necessary to operate the platform and provide our services.

Our Content

The Groundwork platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Gaglers Inc and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the platform will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects will be corrected
• The platform will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAGLERS INC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gaglers Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Conduct harmful to other users or the platform
• Extended period of inactivity

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
